Fried Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 cup buttermilk
    1/2 cup cornmeal
    1/4 cup flour
    1/2 cup cooking oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    4 or 5 green tomatoes
Preparation
    Combine egg and milk, put aside. Combine dry ingredients. Dip tomato slices in egg then in dry ingredients. Heat oil in large skillet. Place prepared tomato slices in oil and fry on medium heat until brown. Drain on paper towel.
