Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large new potatoes, washed and peeled
    3 large carrots, washed and peeled
    1 c. fresh, green or yellow string beans, washed and cut
    1 c. newly shelled peas
    1/2 head fresh cauliflower
    1 large cucumber
    about 1 c. French dressing
    salt and pepper
    chopped fresh parsley
Preparation
    Dice the potatoes and carrots into cubes about the size of 2 peas.
    Cook them in boiling, salted water, together with the cut string beans and the peas, for about 6 to 7 minutes.
    They should be barely tender, still firm.
