Crescent Streusel Strip - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) refrigerated crescent dough
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. flour
1/4 c. butter, softened
1/3 c. finely ground pecans or walnuts
milk (a small amount)
brown sugar (for topping)
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
On ungreased cookie sheet unroll dough into 2 long rectangles.
Overlap long sides by 1/2-inch.
Firmly press edges and perforations to seal.
Roll to form a 13 x 19-inch rectangle.
Combine brown sugar, flour and cinnamon.
Blend in butter until well mixed.
Spread over half of lengthwise dough to within 1/2-inch of edge.
Sprinkle with nuts.
Fold dough in half lengthwise over brown sugar mixture.
Firmly press edges with fork to seal.
Brush with milk and sprinkle with brown sugar.
Bake 16 to 20 minutes, until golden brown.
Cool 10 minutes before serving. Yields 12 strips.
