Ingredients

1 1/2 c. lukewarm water
1 pkg. yeast
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. shortening (liquid)
3 1/4 c. flour
Preparation

Soak yeast in water 5 minutes.
Add rest of ingredients and beat with electric mixer.
Work on board and knead until smooth. Place in greased bowl and cover.
Let raise 1 hour.
Roll dough to 15 x 8-inch oblong roll up like jelly roll taper ends.
