Ingredients

3 eggs
3/4 c. milk
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
4 slices white bread, 3/4-inch thick**
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
confectioners sugar
Preparation

In a small bowl with rotary beater, beat eggs, milk, sugar and salt until smooth and blended.
In a 9-inch square baking dish, arrange bread in a single layer.
Pour egg mixture over the bread. Turn to coat evenly.
Refrigerate, covered, overnight.
