Blueberry Pie Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. blueberries
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. cold water
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter (optional)
Preparation
    Put blueberries, sugar, 1/2 cup water, lemon juice and salt in saucepan.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add cornstarch that has been dissolved in 1/4 cup water.
    Cook until thick.
    Cool.
    Place in uncooked prepared pie crust.
