Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
6 Tbsp. ice water
1 c. Crisco
2 1/2 lb. tart apples (about 5 large Baldwin or Granny Smith)
2/3 to 1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 Tbsp. heavy cream
Preparation

Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a medium size bowl; stir to mix well.
Remove 1/2 cup of the mixture to small bowl; mix with the water until smooth.
Cut shortening into remaining flour mixture in medium size bowl until mixture resembles coarse meal; mix in flour-water mixture until well blended.
Shape into ball.
Wrap dough in wax paper.
Refrigerate while preparing apple filling.
