Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. butter (real butter)
    6 eggs
    3 c. flour, sifted (plain Gold Medal)
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 c. sour cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. mace
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Mix and beat.
    Sift flour, soda and mace together.
    Add alternately with sour cream.
    Beat. Add vanilla.
    Grease and flour pan.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 to 325\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/4 hours.
