Irish Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. oil
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    4 c. apples, sliced very thin
    1 c. nuts
    1/2 bag butterscotch drops
Preparation
    Cream sugar, eggs, vanilla and oil.
    Mix separately all dry ingredients.
    Add to creamed mixture.
    Add nuts
    and apples.
    Mix thoroughly with wooden spoon.
    Spread in 9 x 13-inch pan, well-greased and floured.
    Sprinkle butterscotch drops on top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 or 60 minutes.
    Cool before cutting.
