Ingredients

1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. margarine or butter, softened
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. cinnamon, ground
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. flaked coconut
3/4 c. Fiber One cereal
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
butterscotch or chocolate chips (optional)
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
In a large bowl, cream together sugars and margarine.
Beat in vanilla and egg.
Stir in the remaining ingredients.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Flatten with fork dipped in sugar.
Bake 7 to 8 minutes or until light brown but not set.
Immediately remove from cookie sheet.
