Bread And Butter Pudding - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 stick margarine, softened
12 slices firm white bread
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. milk
1/3 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
raisins (as you like)
5 large eggs
Preparation

Grease 8-inch baking dish.
Spread margarine on bread slices. Arrange 4 slices of bread in dish.
Sprinkle with 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon.
Sprinkle with raisins.
Repeat, making 2 more layers. In medium bowl with whisk, beat milk, sugar, vanilla, salt and eggs until well mixed.
Pour egg mixture over bread.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes, until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Serves 8.
