Sausage-Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. pork sausage
    1 medium chopped onion
    1 medium chopped green pepper
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. uncooked long grain rice
    1/2 c. toasted slivered almonds
    2 envelopes instant chicken noodle soup
    1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
    2 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Cook sausage in a large skillet until browned, stirring to crumble meat.
    Drain off drippings.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in next 7 ingredients.
    Place in a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish; pour water over top.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
