Applesauce Cupcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/3 c. shortening (oil)
2 c. plain flour (if using self-rising flour, omit salt and soda)
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. nuts
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. applesauce

Preparation

Mix all dry ingredients, then add remaining ingredients.
Put in paper cups in cake pan and fill about half full.
Bake in 300\u00b0 oven about 30 minutes.
