Peppermint Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. crushed vanilla wafers
    2/3 c. margarine
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    2 c. powdered sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs, separated
    1/2 gal. peppermint ice cream
Preparation
    Place wafers in 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Melt chocolate in margarine. Add sugar, egg yolks, pecans and vanilla.
    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Spread chocolate mixture over wafer crumbs.
    Spread softened ice cream on top.
    Freeze.
    Serves 12 to 16.
