Martini Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken (about 2 1/2 lb.), cut up
    1 tsp. salt (optional)
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1/2 c. gin
    2 Tbsp. dry Vermouth
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 clove garlic, crushed
Preparation
    Season chicken pieces with
    salt
    and pepper.
    Place in baking dish.
    Combine
    remaining
    ingredients.
    Marinate
    1/2 hour or longer, turning once
    or
    twice.
    Cook
    on grill, skin side down. Grill 10 minutes, basting with marinade.
    Grill 25 to 30 minutes or until
    chicken
    pieces are tender and well browned.
