Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. chopped onions
    6 green peppers
    6 yellow peppers
    6 red peppers
    4 stalks celery
    1/2 c. salt
    6 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
    4 c. vinegar
    2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Chop vegetables.
    Sprinkle with salt.
    Let stand overnight. Rinse and drain.
    Combine remaining ingredients.
    Pour over vegetable mixture.
    Heat to boiling and simmer 3 minutes.
    Pour into hot jars and seal.
