Cucumber Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium size (about 1 1/4 lbs.) cucumbers
    2 tsp. salt
    3 tbsp. vinegar
    3 tbsp. water
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. paprika
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Slice cucumbers (washed and pared)
    thinly into a bowl. Sprinkle with salt.
    Mix and set aside for 1 hour.
    Squeeze cucumber slices, a few at a time (discarding liquid) and put into a bowl.
    Pour vinegar mixture (vinegar, water and sugar and seasonings) over cucumbers and toss lightly.
    Chill salad in refrigerator 1 to 2 hours.
