Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 lb. butter
    5 eggs
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. milk
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Cream together sugar and butter.
    Mix in eggs, one at a time. Mix in flour, alternating with the milk.
    Mix in baking powder and salt.
    When ingredients are well blended, add vanilla.
    Bake in 325\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
