Family Fish Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large cooked potato (approximately 1/2 lb.)
    1 lb. fresh cod or scrod fillet
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    2 egg whites
    2 Tbsp. grated onion
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 medium size shredded carrot
    1/2 tsp. seasoning
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    1 lemon, cut in wedges
    parsley
Preparation
    In 12-inch skillet over high heat, heat fish, garlic, parsley and 1 cup water to boiling.
    Reduce heat to low.
    Cover and simmer 10 minutes until fish flakes. Remove fish to paper towels to drain.
