Canned Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 gal. green beans, snapped
    1 pt. vinegar
    5 qt. water
    1/2 c. salt
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except beans in pot.
    Heat until sugar dissolves.
    Then put in beans.
    When they begin to boil, count 40 minutes boiling time.
    Put in jars and seal.
    Store in cool place.
