Pasta Con Piselli - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. bacon
    1 large sweet onion, chopped
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) can green peas
    1 lb. ditalini, boiled and drained
    Parmesan cheese, grated
Preparation
    In large skillet fry bacon over medium heat until almost crisp.
    Cut bacon into 2 inch pieces.
    Add chopped onion to bacon and grease; cook until onion is tender.
    Pour off about 1/3 of grease.
    Mix in peas with juice.
    Pour bacon mixture into large pot of cooked and drained ditalini.
    Sprinkle with cheese.
    Serve with tossed garden salad and crispy garlic bread; outrageous!
