Rice Caliente - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 c. uncooked rice
1 c. chopped onions
1 (10 oz.) can tomatoes with green chilies
1 c. beef broth
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 c. sour cream
1 c. grated Monterey Jack cheese
Preparation

Crumble ground beef in lightly buttered casserole.
Sprinkle with rice and onions.
Combine tomatoes with green chilies, broth, salt and garlic powder in saucepan.
Heat to boiling.
Pour over meat mixture.
Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Stir in sour cream and sprinkle with cheese.
Return to oven and bake 5 minutes longer.
Serves 9.
