Cherry Gelatin Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) box Jell-O (cherry)
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    In a saucepan, heat the Jell-O and crushed pineapple until dissolved.
    Let cool.
    In a bowl, add the buttermilk, Cool Whip, pecans and Jell-O and pineapple mixture.
    Mix well.
    Let chill until set.
