Applesauce(Chunky) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and cut into chunks
    1/3 c. water
    2 medium ripe Bartlett pears, peeled, cored and cut into chunks
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel
    1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
Preparation
    Combine apples and water in a 2-quart microwave-safe casserole dish with a lid.
    Cover and microwave on High for 4 minutes or until apples and pears are tender, stirring 1/2 through cooking time.
    Stir in sugar, lemon peel, and cinnamon.
    Cover and microwave on High for 2 to 4 minutes until sugar dissolves.
    Stir well.
