Peppy Stuffed Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium green peppers
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    2 c. cooked rice
    1/4 c. chopped onions
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
Preparation
    Halve green peppers lengthwise.
    Remove seed and wash peppers. Lightly mix ground beef, rice, onions, salt, pepper and 1/2 can tomato sauce.
    Pile lightly into pepper halves; arrange in baking dish.
    Pour remaining tomato sauce over peppers.
    Cover tightly and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until peppers are tender.
