Mama'S Raisin-Spice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. milk
    2 eggs
    1 pkg. raisins
    1 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Grease and flour a large tube pan.
    Cream the butter and sugar; add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
    Sift the dry ingredients together and add to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk.
    Save a little of the flour mixture to flour the raisins.
    Add these last of all.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for approximately an hour or until a straw inserted comes out clean.
