Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 baked pie shell
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 1/4 c. boiling water
    3 eggs, separated
    6 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. grated lemon rind
Preparation
    Combine 1 cup of the sugar, flour, cornstarch and salt in double boiler.
    Add boiling water, stirring constantly.
    Cook until smooth and thick.
    Cover; cook for 15 minutes.
    Beat egg yolks with the 1/2 cup sugar.
    Gradually pour the hot mixture over it.
    Cook 1 minute longer.
    Add lemon juice and rind just before removing from heat.
    Mix well.
    Cool.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Top with meringue of egg whites.
