Marinated Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cabbage, thinly sliced
    2 onions, sliced
    7/8 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. oil
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    In a saucepan, combine 1 cup vinegar, 3/4 cup oil, 2 teaspoons sugar, 1 teaspoon dry mustard, 1 teaspoon celery seed and 1 tablespoon salt; bring to a boil.
    In a bowl, combine cabbage and onions (sliced).
    Toss with 7/8 cup sugar.
    Pour mixture over cabbage and onions.
    Toss while cooling.
    Cover and store in refrigerator.
    Lasts 1 to 2 weeks in refrigerator.
    It is better after it marinates 24 hours.
