Jelly Doughnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 packages (1/4 oz. each) active dry yeast
    1/2 cut warm water (110~ to 115~)
    1/2 c. warm milk (110~ to 115~)
    1/3 c. butter, softened
    1 1/3 c. sugar, divided
    3 egg yolks
    1 tsp. salt
    3 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    3 Tbsp. jelly or jam
    1 egg white, beaten
    Oil for deep-fat frying
Preparation
    In mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Add milk, butter, 1/3 cup sugar, egg yolks and salt; mix well.
    Stir in enough flour to form a soft dough (do not knead).
    Place in greased bowl, turning once to grease top.
    Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 1/2 hours.
