Meat Loaf And Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 lb. ground pork (I use sausage)
    2 slices bread, crumbled
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. minced onion
    1/4 c. tomato catsup
    2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. pepper
    8 oz. can tomato puree, divided
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Combine and mix all ingredients except 1/2 of the tomato puree and the water.
    Shape mixture into a loaf.
    Pour the remaining puree over the loaf and add the water.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Take the meat loaf up and pour the drippings into a heavy skillet.
    Make a thickening of flour and water and add slowly to the drippings until it thickens to gravy.
