Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 c. raisins
4 c. diced raw apples
1 c. nuts

Preparation

Mix together with hands until well mixed.
Bake in large loaf pan in slow oven at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour.
Use sauce, whipped cream or light icing if you like.
