Hash Brown Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (32 oz.) pkg. frozen hash browns, thawed
    3/4 c. butter, melted
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can chicken soup
    1 (8 oz.) container sour cream
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 c. corn flakes
    1/2 c. chopped onion
Preparation
    Combine potatoes, 1/2 cup butter, onion, soup, sour cream and cheese; stir.
    Spoon into greased 2 1/2-quart casserole.
    Crush cereal; stir in 1/4 cup butter and sprinkle over the potato mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
    Serves 10 to 12.
