Ingredients

3 egg yolks
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. flour
1 Tbsp. margarine
1/3 c. milk
1 (3 1/2 oz.) can grated coconut
3 egg whites
4 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Sift sugar and flour together.
Mix with margarine.
Add well beaten egg yolks, milk and coconut.
Pour in uncooked pastry shell and bake at 350\u00b0 until almost firm.
Beat 3 egg whites until almost stiff; then add 4 tablespoons sugar (1 at a time), while continuing to beat.
Spread on pie and brown in oven at 325\u00b0.
