White Bean Bruschetta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. canned white beans, drained and rinsed
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1/4 tsp. minced garlic
    1/2 tsp. dried leaf basil, crumbled
    2 slices bread
    1/2 tsp. olive oil
    1 tsp. grated Parmesan cheese
    black pepper to taste
Preparation
    Heat beans in a small saucepan, over medium heat, until boiling.
    Place beans in a small bowl; mash with lemon juice, garlic and basil.
    Spread on bread.
    Drizzle on olive oil and sprinkle with cheese and black pepper.
    Makes 1 serving.
