Shenandoah Valley Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. oil
    3 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3 c. diced peeled apples
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    1 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Beat together the oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla for about 3 minutes.
    Mix together flour, salt and baking powder.
    Add dry ingredients, beating well after each addition.
    Stir in apples. Combine walnuts with 1 tablespoon flour, if desired.
    Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
