Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    6 oz. chocolate chips
    1/3 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Melt chocolate chips and shortening in double boiler, then cool.
    Beat eggs and sugar until lemon colored; add the flour mixture.
    Stir in chocolate mixture, vanilla and nuts.
    Pour into greased and floured 8 x 8-inch square pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
