Apple Dumplings With Cream Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 c. shortening (Crisco)
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    9 Tbsp. (2/3 c.) cold water
Preparation
    Mix together.
    Roll small portions of pastry to size of saucer.
    Peel
    and\tchop
    5 fresh apples.
    Place 2 tablespoons apples, 2 teaspoons sugar, 1 teaspoon butter and a sprinkle of cinnamon on pastry.
    Bring edges together and crimp.
    Place in greased
    baking
    dish.
    Bake
    45
    minutes at 375\u00b0.\tServe with Cream Sauce.
