Blackberry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. soda
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 c. blackberries, drained
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and beat well.
    Add soda and spices to flour.
    Add buttermilk.
    Beat in berries.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Makes 3 layers in 8 or 9-inch pans.
