Doris' Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 c. flour
2 c. raisins
2 c. chopped nuts
2 c. unsweetened applesauce
2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. nutmeg
flavor (as desired)

Preparation

Mix 1/2 cup flour with nuts and raisins.
Mix all dry ingredients.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add dry ingredients alternately with applesauce.
Bake in a tube pan in a moderate 350\u00b0 oven until done.
