Hamburger Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. hamburger (lean)
    32 oz. tomato juice
    2 c. chopped onion
    2 c. chopped celery
    1 c. pearl barley
    1/2 c. catsup
    2 beef bouillon cubes
    4 tsp. season salt (Lawry's)
    2 tsp. basil
    2 bay leaves
    1 tsp. pepper
    5 to 6 c. water
Preparation
    Brown burger; drain.
    In a large pot or crock-pot, put burger and remaining ingredients.
    Simmer 1 hour.
    Remove bay leaves before serving.
    Serves 8 to 10.
