No Bake Confetti Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
    2 c. miniature marshmallows (white or colored)
    3 c. graham cracker crumbs (about 38 sq.)
    1 c. confectioners sugar
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
    walnut or pecan halves
Preparation
    In a bowl, mix together nuts, marshmallows, crumbs and sugar. In a saucepan, melt chocolate in evaporated milk over low heat, stirring until thick and smooth.
    Remove from heat; add peppermint extract.
    Reserve 1/2 cup chocolate mixture for frosting; add remainder to crumb mixture.
    Stir until all crumbs are moistened. Turn into greased 8-inch square pan; press down.
    Spread reserved chocolate mixture over top.
    Chill until ready to serve.
    Cut into 1 x 2-inch pieces.
    Use nut half for garnish.
