Marinara Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 cloves garlic, pressed
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    4 (14 1/2 oz.) cans tomatoes, drained and chopped
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. dried Italian seasoning
    2 bay leaves
Preparation
    Cook onion and garlic in olive oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until tender. Add tomatoes and remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium and cook, stirring occasionally, 20 minutes or until most of the liquid evaporates. Remove and discard bay leaves.
