Charlene'S Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. cornmeal
    3/4 c. flour
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
    1 egg
    1/2 stick butter
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Batter should be like thick pancake mix.
    Heat butter.
    Mix dry ingredients.
    Stir in buttermilk and butter.
    Add egg.
    Bake at 450\u00b0.
