Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 c. mayonnaise
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. water, room temperature

Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0. In a bowl mix flour, salt and cocoa, set aside. In another bowl mix mayonnaise, sugar and vanilla. Add flour mixture to mayonnaise mixture. In measuring cup mix 3/4 cup water with the baking soda. Pour into mayonnaise mixture and stir. This will foam up a bit and may look lumpy. Pour batter into a 9 x 13 pan or 2 round 8 inch pans and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool and frost.
