Corn Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (12 oz.) can whole kernel corn
    1/4 c. milk
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 large egg, beaten
    2 c. vegetable oil
Preparation
    In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except vegetable oil. Set aside for 20 minutes.
    Heat the oil in skillet. Drop one teaspoonful of mixture for each fritter.
    Cook until golden brown (without turning), about 1 minute.
    Remove fritters with slotted spatula, allowing oil to drip off, putting cooked fritters onto paper towel.
    Makes about 20 fritters.
