Economy Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. sweet milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    rind of 1 lemon, grated
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt 3 times.
    Cream butter, adding sugar gradually.
    Add eggs and beat thoroughly.
    Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk.
    Pour into greased tube pan and bake 55 minutes in moderate oven (350\u00b0).
