Jam And Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. Crisco
    4 eggs
    1 c. cherries
    1 c. blackberry jam
    1 c. nuts
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
Preparation
    Cream sugar and Crisco.
    Add one egg at a time.
    Mix in milk, soda and dry ingredients.
    Bake in cake pans at 350\u00b0.
