Apple Betty - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. sliced, peeled, tart apples or 1 (1 lb. 2 oz.) can pie sliced apples, drained
1/4 c. orange juice
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
dash of salt
1/2 c. butter
Preparation

Mound apples in buttered 9-inch pie plate; sprinkle with juice. Combine dry ingredients; cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle over apples.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is crisp.
Serve warm with cream or ice cream.
