Phyl'S Coconut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. self-rising flour
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vegetable shortening
    1 1/2 c. milk
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine flour and sugar. Add shortening and 2/3 milk; beat 2 minutes. Add remaining milk, eggs and vanilla; beat 3 minutes. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes. As soon as cake comes from oven, punch holes and pour 1 can cream of coconut over it.
