Winter Sherbet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
    1 (16 oz.) can sliced peaches (undrained)
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Combine pineapple and peaches in electric blender.
    Process until smooth.
    Pour mixture into 9-inch square pan.
    Stir in lemon juice and vanilla.
    Freeze until almost firm, stirring occasionally.
    Spoon mixture into container of an electric blender; process until smooth.
    Return mixture to pan and freeze until firm. Let stand at room temperature 5 minutes before serving.
    Yields 1 quart.
